Nicrophorus Investigator

Post by SpiderSam on Sun Sep 06, 2015 10:08 am

So I caught this guy buzzing around my house xD don't really know what to do its a bit cold outside for bugs, no?!?

This is just to compare why I think its an investigator and not another species of burying beetle like the Vespillo.

Investigator (what I think this beetle is) :

I agree with your ID I used to just call them all Burying Beetles, these used to litter my friends yard [wonder what he was doing.....].

What is the temprature outside? If it is above 10C it should be fine. But I agree, it's getting cold out Fast!
