1- Yes Lobsters are Crustaceans I will make a board for that.

2- No but ever since I was little going through the supermarket area where they kept them I've wanted one.

Good luck! Don't let anyone cook em up on you!

I think they are illegal in the UK due to the American signal cray fish, so yeah I probably won't get one, but I do have a bamboo shrimp which is pretty cool. From what I hear, they are fairly common in the aquarium trade in the US. Blue lobsters (which are really crayfish) require the same care as other crustaceans (be careful with medication in the water, no metals, an established aquarium that is cycled and good water conditions, however will nip at small fish. One other thing to keep in mind is that they may be pain when planting the aquarium. Good luck if you do get them, be sure to post pictures!
Oh and by the way, I think there is a thread with some pictures of one by High Lord Dee.

Hmm thanks salt I live in Canada so I would assume its legal if its legal in the states (only assuming because the states are harder on pets and such compared to Canada) But it wont be a while I was just bringing up the idea to alex and he looks forward to getting one....gonna have to get a custom tank I heard lobster and some shrimps and crabs will actually bust the aquarium (that's just what I heard it sound silly to me)

And dermy: I KNOW I ALWAYS WANTED A PET ONE FROM THE GROCERY STORE TO!!!
