I was looking in my colony today and 90% of them were in the Out-World, including almost all the queens, does this mean they want a new home? I think they've earned it going from less then 15 workers to at least 50 now in a few months, and more on the way [they have been working non-stop on a piece of popcorn chicken]
Yes they probably want a new home
I think I will close them up [make them all in the foraging area] and clean out the current nest, since it isn't full yet, and I really want to keep it [if it aint broke don't fix it] and replace the nest with new cotton and moisture! They seem to like the nest, and so do I.
Yes that sounds a better idea.
Okay I will do that. I really want to keep them in this nest, preferably all Season, then in the Winter I may be able to work on something better. I might however add another nest to the mix if they really need it later on [if they went from 15 to 50 in less then 3 months imagine how much bigger they will get, esp. now that I know they will eat human food in a pinch]
