Yes they do! Just not the same as normal bees and it tastes nasty trust me barf it tastes really watery since they don't need to preserve it for winter because they are Annual.

I have only seen 2 Nests in my day, one starter nest that my dad killed sad I could have relocated it but oh no burning them is funner [who was the adult I wonder?]

The other was a mature nest in a friends shed and it had over 150+ Workers and tons of New Queens probably 30-40 Queens! They don't usually get that large, would have been cool to see it go from the start to finish, my friend allowed them to finish up before getting the nest out.
