OMG I read on CTV NEWS that ticks are now carrying not only Lyme disease (which is deadly on its own) But now The black death <- yup the disease that killed 70%(guesstimation) of Europe well they are now being carried by ticks ....now im not sure if it is 100% real u will have to look that up.... anyways basically if u see a Bullseye red marking (tick bite) GO TO THE DOCTORS ASAP u cannot wait 24hrs I believe if im right (DONT QUOTE ME) but within 16 hours of the plague enters the body u are basically screwed!!!!! check for lumps and bumps in armpits and groin area black markings (even then its basically too late) fever, sweating, hunger but not feeling like eating (if u know what I mean)....there is no 1 cure for this u basically take wide spectrum bacterial infection pills and it only helps 20% people so yeah ticks are crazy bad!!!!! Also the black death is basically ur body rotting from the inside out :3 .....sorry if I scared you!!!

The 'Black Death', or Bubonic Plague is treatable. Smile

When plague is suspected and diagnosed early, a health care provider can prescribe specific antibiotics (generally streptomycin or gentamycin). Certain other antibiotics are also effective.

Left untreated, bubonic plague bacteria can quickly multiply in the bloodstream, causing septicemic plague, or even progress to the lungs, causing pneumonic plague.

Either way, it better not infect my awesome buddy, Dermy. sad

Haha Thanks guys, but the risk is just not too high, I think there is repellent stuff that you can use and such. Plus all the preventive measures you can take. There isn't much threat in a town as there is in a Rural farm area. I don't have much trees anymore and our grass is always cut well.
