Hi Salt, and welcome to the Bug Forum. Thank you for joining and supporting my awesome buddy, Dermy by getting his forum populated by enthusiasts such as yourself.

I have to admit that I'm not sure what a phasmid is, but I'm sure you'll meet people with your interests here. Smile

Ants are my main interest. Smile

Hello salt and welcome to the bug forum!!! My name is Sam... I am learning new things I have some knowledge everywhere or at least try to learn as much as possible as I have a insect breeding Business(crickets, mealworms, worms)

I have seen many of those leaf insects outside but never had one I heard they are very cool to watch...related to the Praying mantis I believe if im right xD?!?!?!

I got a Tarantula and planning on getting reptiles of all sorts of course when I get the money!!!
Used to have a wild caught Toad sadly we ran out of food and by the time I got food and I went to feed it I seen it passed away :c (felt really bad and its my fault for starving it)

Thanks for the welcomes all!
Yup, phasmids are related to other insects that have nympths resembling adult specimens, so mantids, grasshoppers, katydids, crickets and cockroaches:)
I do have a soft spot for reptiles, had a testudo graeca but it died due to rookie mistakes Crying or Very sad

I could try my best to help, but I have no experience with crickets Neutral
What's their set-up like?

It may be that either the crickets are too young or that they may be like some stick insects, where they take a month or more after their final moult to begin laying eggs. Like I said, don't know much about crickets so hope I was of some help:)

that could be possible!!! and no worries I learn as I go! but I did find it helpful so that's a plus! I tried doing selective breeding... grabbing mature males and females and putting them in a different container but I noticed they were not as active and I find they seemed lonely so when I get more males and females I will retry that maybe I will have more success but thanks salt!!

I think they aren't adults just yet and need time to mature a bit more, then they should start laying and making a mess Razz
