New Spring Molts

Post by High Lord Dee on Tue Mar 31, 2015 6:52 am

Been a busy week for my T's.  They must sense Spring is near?

Had four molts this week:

Poecilotheria metallica Gooty Saphire Tarantula - about 3" now
Lasiodora parahybanai - Grande Salmon Pink Bird Eater - about 7" now
Psalmopeus irminia - Venezuelan Suntiger - About 2.5" now
Brachypelma Smithi - Mexican Red Knee Tarantula - About 4" now

Back in the day, they were the only Tarantulas you could purchase in the states. They were all wild caught and imported from Mexico. Until they put them on the CITIES list to protect them. Now, you have to buy from breeders. Very pricey but truly one of the classics and gorgeous. Great beginner tarantula as well.

So I've heard [I watch T videos before and everyone was like choose B smithi because they are great starter spiders, but i never knew what they were.] At that time i thought that was a refrence to the final boss on Super Mario RPG Smithi.
