Post by formica123 on Sat Mar 28, 2015 3:35 pm

Hi,
New here but I know most of you anyway Wink Here are my current ant colonies. Should I creatw seperate journals?
Images soon if I can!
Acromyrmex colony, medium.
2 Camponotus Cruentatus colonies, Small.
Temnothorax nylanderi colony, Large.
Myrmica Rubra, paralysed queen.
Formica colony, Medium
Messor barbarus, Small
Lasius Niger, medium.

I want to get some Pheidole, probably my favourite ant so far! Will collect some in july!

That should work pretty well! I did that with my Lasius and she now lays eggs, it will make her able to eat more foods such as protein so she can live.

I caught a Myrmica Rubra colony with 5 queens!
I will start a journal here.
It has 100 + workers. Pretty chuffed.
I'm getting some more colonies this week and will be selling some on my shop Very Happy
