Starting a new colony/Whatever

I want to get something new that doesn't fly ....I don't need flying insect just yet not ready for that.... idk thinking of getting those Sow bugs those weird little centipede looking isopods that hide under rocks xD they seem pretty cool yet again I don't know nothing about isopods so give me cool things to research?!? .....or maybe some reptiles got any good beginers or even crabs I actually want starfish xD

Isopods are very easy to setup and maintain. An idiot can do it haha! I've messed with mine to the point where they should have given up. They are very good at composting food scraps if you prepare them the right way Very Happy They need minimal care and they don't fly and they come in various colours and sizes, and they breed relitively well.

Another thing that is fun is Dermestids but i doubt you will like those they do fly sometimes Razz

I don't mind the flying I plan on getting moths and butterflys but for now im not interested in flying xD and yeah isopods I find are cool I just don't know which ones I want that's why I wanted to start with the sowbugs

I'd start with the local ones, the Porcellio scaber as they are very hardy and easy to find/maintain. Just look in the woods under the leaf litter and under rocks/wood.

If you want something else that makes a colony try ants Very Happy

I want to start a ant farm sometimes withing the year or 2 xD its on me and alexs want list xD mainly for us not for anything else ....same with starfish I want just 3 xD

They fly in the summer and you can get tons of queens of various species.

Those are pretty cool and i think [if done right] they make great first ant setups but they aren't too good for rearing the queens.
