Anyone from the US?

Post by SpiderSam on Fri Mar 06, 2015 7:48 pm

so im sad to hear that boas and some other kinds of snakes are going on a "watched list" what I mean from that is that u can buy the snakes in the state but if u were to move states ur snakes cant go because they "are trying" to make the moving process illegal or something I did read up not well since I live in Canada and don't really have to worry about this (yet who knows) but I just wanted to know if the made a decision?!?!?

As far as i was considered it is [this is just what i think could be wrong since i'm not into snakes] illegal to ship any kind of live animal [like a snake] across the Border. But i could be wrong.

no I have no snakes yet but for my business later on it kinda sucks .....
and Dermy this isn't cross country this is CROSS STATE so if u decided to move to texas from California (just an example) u cant bring ur snakes :c but if u live in California and stay there till u die u can still breed them and sell them but only in California u cant sell a snake to someone in Texas because of the ban :c

I assume you mean "Legal Imports" because we all know there is an Underground Operation probably going on.

I hope I don't have to start an underground Dermestid Beetle Operation.

Ahhh im sick to babysat some of my cousin the past 3 days (reason why I haven't been on the forum lately) hope u feel better

yes I mean legal imports Razz

im mainly mad because they are talking about INJURIOUS snakes if u search up the word injurious it states "Causing or likely to cause damage or harm" So with that look at a cat it has bacteria growing under its nails u can easily lose an Eye if it were to scratch ur eyes out making the cat Injurious (that goes to pretty much every animal from birds to snakes including us) so why make it "banned" look at the pit bull terrier it is banned in many places for being "dangerous" my point being and why im mad is because we are Blaming tHE WRONG END OF THE LEASH ..... a Snake (yes some are more aggressive) can be aggressive if u don't feed it enough food if u are feeding ur 10 meter (just using numbers) a tiny pinky mouse hes still going to be aggressive because he is hungry if u were to feed a BIG RAT he wont be so hungry and so he wont be as aggressive kinda like a Tarantula when its hungry its MEAN and DANGEROUS but when it is full it doesn't need to Eat so it become a bit more docile (obviously there are more aggressive Ts like OBT) but still if ur OBT is hungry he is going to be aggressive .... idk im just mad at the fact we r not looking at these things that make animal aggressive like a dog if u don't feed it right it will become aggressive

Yes it is weird. Maybe one day the law will change [watch this it will change the wrong way and make it illegal to have Dermestids unless it's for "Skull Cleaning" or some other dumb reason.]
