Yeah I don't plan on feeding it ants .... and dermestids I don't own any (sadly probably wont for a long while) .....but I found out her favorite food ....she likes crickets but shes slow at eating them like shes not interested and meal worms too she will eat them but shes slow at attacking them ....

THE BEETLES she attacks them like lighting she loves them (I would assume)

Hmm that's neat always got crickets locally and they were only crickets xD soon ill be getting them online ....

UPDATE ON THE BOTTLE CAPS she moved the blue bottle caps and now they are flipped over and half buried but she never touched the green ones.... and I only put bottle caps just to see what she would do to them xD I heard some will bury them some will "collect" and some will make 'towers' and web them down but her she just flipped them over xD

The first time I saw one of those worm things in my cricket box I didn't realise it was a dermestid, and I fed it to my ants sad

But once my awesome buddy Dermy told me what they were I keep my eye out for them every time I buy a tub of crickets. Smile

I need to get me some tongs soon I am not hand feeding wasps ever again.

Did you eventually get the lid? If you don't have tongs use those tongs for cooking to get the lid.
