Good Reptiles?

Post by SpiderSam on Sat Jan 31, 2015 4:10 pm

Boyfriend wants a bearded Dragon (yay) but I heard they are kinda tricky to get the right settings in a tank

I want a Chameleon or an iguana or something awesome and big

....maybe start with geckos first?

I really want something along the reptile lines any ideas?

I don't know much about them, but I'd start out with something easy like a Leopard Gecko, you know just to check it out and see if you really want something bigger or anything like that. kind of like a test Wink

Well my sister ex boyfriend had an chameleon and that thing was a COW didn't like anyone but me xD and she was pretty cool and I got an idea of how to keep them since I lived with the for 2 months....

and my best friend has a bearded dragon (along with other animals they own a pet store so what ever animal is sick or just cant find a home they keep) and that thing was very nice but his cage had so many flipping lights and the food O.O

and I was planning on getting a snow mack gecko but it was like 250$ just for the lizard .... local pet stores are expensive but I heard they were way easier then the rest of the reptiles

See I know nothing about lizards, but I've seen what kind of food and setup you need for Beardies, from My Friend.

I've heard babies can be even harder in some of the cases, [temps. humidity and all that jazz] but I guess it depends who you ask.

Thanks a lot, who knows maybe one day this forum will have more reptile peeps on it [I really just made this forum with Bugs In Mind, I mean before 2011 or whatever I had no Tarantula Forum, No Reptile/Amphibian Forum, heck I didn't even have separate forums for anything it was Bugs and then Stuff haha!]

No Problem, I could have changed it but it's good you like Purple, I think it goes good with the Other Group Colours.
