Stressful Day

Post by High Lord Dee on Sun Jan 04, 2015 6:53 pm

Changed out the substrate on 3 5-gallon tanks over the last day and a half. No biggie but worked around:

Androctonus Australis
Androctonus Bicolor
Leiurus qiunquestriatus

3 of the most deadly scorpions in the world. Look great now and won't have to be done for the next year or two. Smile

The Top 3 Deadliest? And your wife won't let you keep a Simple Polistes wasp colony?

No wasps OR cockroaches. Go figure right? But in fairness, there is NO way these scorps are escaping my double clamped and two lock per tank set up. But feeding always tend to find crickets all over the place. Can't stand them! May be able to sneak in the wasp nest at some point though. Good to have goals.

You shouldn't even need it in the house, just Free-Range them, outdoors somewhere and then less work for you, they will feed themselves and basically do normal wasp things and you can watch them.

Word of warning if your gonna do Yellow Jackets stay out of their flight path, once you tick them off every time you go near them they are just gonna hunt you down!

Well, we have plenty of bees and wasps on my property. Just not the same as having them in the comfort of your own home. Surprised
