Winter 2014

Post by dermy on Thu Aug 28, 2014 7:13 pm

Yes I know Gardening is over in the winter, or is it! I want to try Indoor Winter Gardening! I will post more stuff as I figure out more, I have started a few potato plants already and will post a thread about them later!

What are your gardening plans this year, or next year?

I am only after small ones, to feed the slugs in the winter months if food gets scarce, or my winter reserves fail. They need a ton of food.

They aren't for me! They are food for the slugs/worms if I ever needed food in a pinch, so a last resort food storage.

Once they are large enough I will harvest them and replant new seedling things and do it again as much as possible almost like farming them all year round!

Sorry guys been busy the last few days.

I noticed yesterday the first baby potato, I should be able to harvest by October 1st/2014, then remake it the same day, or the next. Then harvest it in the middle of November, and so forth until it's spring again. Might as well keep going as it's food that I could need further done the road for the slugs/worms/pods.
